Recovery is different for each of our Detroit breast augmentation patients. You will heal at your body’s own rate and you should not push yourself to do more than you feel capable of.
In general though, some patients return to work the first week after surgery. This is most easily accomplished for women who work in an office environment and have the ability to avoid strenuous movements that would slow their recovery or make themselves uncomfortable.
If your job requires a lot of physical activity, it may be three weeks or more before you can return to your job. You should discuss your concerns about returning to work when you meet with Dr. Rifai. He will be able to assess your situation and give you a more definite estimate based on your body and your expected recovery time.
