What is a Liquid Facelift?
A liquid facelift is a nonsurgical procedure in which a combination of injectables is used to address signs of aging on the face, including fine lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. Typically, Botox and fillers such as Juvederm or Radiesse are used. Liquid facelifts are highly customizable procedures, and our master injectors will tailor your treatment to your unique needs and cosmetic goals.
Who is a Good Candidate for a Liquid Facelift?
Most patients with some degree of visible signs of aging who do not wish to undergo a surgical procedure are good candidates for a liquid facelift. These patients should be generally healthy overall before choosing the procedure. During a consultation, your injector or Dr. Rifai will review your health history to ensure that you are a safe candidate.
Patients with more advanced signs of aging may not be good candidates for a liquid facelift. This includes those with extensive sagging or drooping and very poor skin elasticity. Patients should maintain realistic expectations for the procedure, which can be explained during a consultation.
Thanks to a combination of injectables used, a liquid facelift is a suitable solution for common concerns including:

How is a Liquid Facelift Performed?
Often, liquid facelifts can be performed immediately after your consultation. The procedure typically takes about 30 minutes to complete, depending on the number of injections required to meet your intended results. First, the skin will be thoroughly cleansed. Injection sites will be marked, and a numbing agent may be administered as needed. Dr. Rifai or our master injectors will then administer your dermal fillers and Botox according to your unique treatment plan. Very small needles are used to complete injections, so this process causes only minor discomfort and is generally well-tolerated.

However, you will likely notice some side effects including swelling, redness, and potential bruising. Patients should avoid applying pressure to injection sites, strenuous activity such as exercise, smoking, or drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours after receiving a liquid facelift.
Liquid facelift results are not permanent, and typically last about 6-18 months. This varies depending on the types of injectables you receive. Maintenance injections can be scheduled to keep up your results over time.
