  • Changes in the sensation of the skin
  • Bruising
  • Thermal burn (only with ultrasound-assisted technique)
  • Poor healing

Complications

Major complications that may occur with liposuction are a rare occurrence, but it is important that you are well informed of any possible complications. Those who have liposuction done in multiple areas or a larger area have an increased risk for adverse effects.
